You will Build and assemble test Electro-mechanical/Hydraulic control units. Testing SCM’s, PCDM’s and other Subsea products.
 

As a Mechanical Test Technician, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Conducting Mechanical testing of Subsea Control Modules.
  • Attending Quality and engineering reviews on technical and quality issues.
  • Leading and delivering improvement and lean projects.
  • Assembling Mechanical hydraulic system.
  • Flushing units to ensure they are hydraulically clean.
  • Feeding back on quality issues using company procedures.
  • Maintaining Health and safety standards within workshop.


Fuel your passion
 

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have experience in testing and calibration on modules to predetermined test process
  • Have experience carrying out first off Testing and Software ETU /SCM integration.
  • Be a technical point of contact for other team members to lead engineering investigations and problem solving.
  • Have experience raising Non conformances and quality concerns. Support technicians in build and test when they have quality issues.
  • Have experience with the set up and use of test equipment.
  • Have experience uploading and downloading software to electronic assemblies.
  • Have experience using test software packages.
  • Be Able to read Mechanical and electrical schematics.
