(For initial 12 months candidate will be trained at Warrington WA3) - Travel / Accomodation support shall be provided
Key responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a number of competencies within relevant cells to support the changing needs of the customer
- Apply procedures detailed within the appropriate assembly instructions and specifications as defined by the Team leader
- Record issues affecting the daily short interval management (SIM) objectives
- Comply with the Quality, Environmental Management systems, Health & Safety Policy and Housekeeping 5S process
- Complete standard tests and inspection against quality standards
- Suggest proposals to improve the working procedures and cells
- Identify and express to the team leader any risks regarding health and safety, quality and environment, including all incidents and near misses
- All lost time in production is known and recorded
Essential Requirements
- Understand assembly drawings and work instructions
- Understand schematic wiring diagrams
- Able to assemble Mechanical/Electrical switchgear using assembly drawings
- General experience with assembly hand tools and wiring tools ie crimping tools, spanners sockets etc
- Preferable that the applicant has experience in assembly switchgear or similar products
Applicant should be able to wire a small LV panel using a block diagram
