Medical Dispatcher

Your new company
Working for part of the NHS based in Exeter EX2.
These roles are initially 4 weeks\' training which you would need to pass, then you would be taken on permanently with them.
Salary: £22,816 - £24,336 per annum (plus unsocial enhancements)
Hours: 37.5 (varying shift patterns covering days, nights, weekends, bank holidays etc.)
Contract: permanent
Your new role
To answer and process, as described, all telephone calls are presented.
To ensure all calls are answered in an effective and efficient manner.
To support the Clinical Desk answering and assisting with calls from trust staff
To ensure calls presented to the Clinical Desk are answered in an effective and efficient manner.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Experience of inputting data accurately and quickly using a keyboard
Basic computer literacy
Previous experience of dealing with members of the public in a customer service environment
Good telephone manner
Ability to deal with conflict resolution.
Be available for 4 weeks of training from March.
What you\'ll get in return

• All hours on a Saturday and any weekday after 8pm and before 6am = time+35%
• All hours on a Sunday and public holidays = time+69%

After 4 weeks of initial training you will then be taken on by the company on a contract basis.
