What you'll be responsible for:
- Specialist knowledge of medical staff terms and conditions of employment including the Junior Doctor contract, Consultant and SAS contract.
- Resolve all new and legacy pay queries including short term pay protection/cash floor, experience with dealing with complex pay queries.
- Manage and co-ordinate Junior Doctors' rotas, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and the Working Time Directive (WTD).
- Support the Guardian of Safe Working in the recording and processing of exception reports.
- Update junior doctor rotation grids and staff lists.
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Previous Medical HR experience
- System knowledge - TRAC, ESR (payroll) system (essential), Rota systems DRS
- Working within a healthcare setting
- Dealing with complex payroll queries
- Communication with stakeholders
This role may require you to show evidence of education at degree level or at least 2 years relevant experience.
