Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join a GP Practice in Hemel Hempstead,
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and providing exceptional customer service to patients.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in Medical Office Administration is a plus
