We are looking for capable, enthusiastic, and committed Healthcare Coordinator (Medical Receptionist) for various bank hours Extra hours to cover holiday and sickness. with excellent communication/ interpersonal skills. The role will include answering phones, navigating patients to the correct service/appointments, manning front desk, scanning, prescriptions and other administrative tasks requested by the GP’s. Ideally, we would ideally like someone who has worked as a in a GP Practice before & has used the clinical software EMIS, but we would consider anyone as training will be given.
We have a main and branch GP practice in the heart of Chandlers Ford, which supports 16000+ patients and we pride ourselves on our professional and caring approach to supporting our patients and the local community.
The other duties of a HealthCare Coordinator include- receiving, assisting and directing patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare in a professional, courteous, efficient and effective way. Providing general assistance to the Practice team and projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality, professional reception service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals and others. To act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the Practice and to portray the Practice in the highest possible professional manner. To ensure that enquiries from patients are efficiently and courteously handled.

Previous experience within Primary Care is an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.
Job Types: Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 37.50 per week
