Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information and update records in the electronic medical record system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Essential Criteria:
- 4 GCSEs (A-C) ( or equivalent) including English & Maths
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Desirable Criteria :
- Administrative skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work.
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role or medical environment
- Experience in the use of EMIS WEB
