SalaryMedical Service Engineer required. My client is an established manufacturer and maintainer of Medical Devices and Healthcare equipment based out of Birmingham. Due to continued business growth, they are looking to hire a Service Engineer in the Birmingham area with a focus on finding a candidate with previous medical device experience, a capacity to work multiskilled and a willingness to travel across the midlands.
You must hold a full driving licence and be based within a commutable distance of Birmingham for the role.
Medical Service Engineer Position Overview
- Responding to all customer callout & breakdowns within company set time frames
- performing Electro-Mechanical service and maintenance
- Managing your own vehicle and tool requirements
- Overseeing return and repair process
- Providing procurement with needed information relating to part orders
- Assisting engineers when required for servicing
- Completing on-site asset lists and audits
Medical Service Engineer Position Requirements
- Previous experience in an Engineering role
- Previous experienced in the service and maintenance of Medical Devices - specific Hoist experience would be highly beneficial
- Proficient in both a Mechanical and Electrical capacity
- Experience in working in a range of medical environments
- Prepared to travel throughout the midlands as required
- Full Driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Birmingham
Medical Service Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £33,000 - £35,000
- Overtime available
- 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
- Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 (Some flexibility available)
- Company Vehicle, Tools & Fuel card
- Pension
