Location: Home Counties, but preferably situated within an easy commute to Bedford and London.

Role Overview: My client is seeking an experienced MEP Contracts Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of project delivery for Education and Commercial projects across the Home Counties. This role requires a dynamic and knowledgeable professional who can handle the complexities of MEP contract management while driving project success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage MEP projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Contract Administration: Oversee contract negotiations, documentation, and compliance to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, designers, and subcontractors, to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure all project specifications are met.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring smooth project progression.
- Estimating and Budgeting: Utilize your expertise in estimating to develop accurate project budgets and manage financial performance.
- Design Oversight: Engage in the design phase, offering insights and ensuring designs meet project requirements and standards.
- Commercial Management: Handle commercial aspects of contracts, including cost control, procurement, and financial reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an MEP Contracts Manager or in a similar role within the Education and Commercial sectors.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, project management methodologies, and contract administration.
- Experience in estimating, design, and commercial aspects of contract delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
