On offer is the chance for a M&E Manager, with experience working on refurbishment projects, to work on a diverse range of high quality projects within a growing contractor with progression opportunities and an exceptional salary and benefits package.
This reputable design and build refurbishment Contractor specialise the refurbishment of prominently student accommodation across the UK working on bespoke joinery packages. Having thrived since being established this company have a clear 5 year growth plan increase turnover to 100M, in order to achieve this they have also started working on Commercial projects as well such as office works. Due to expansion this company are now looking for a M&E Manager to join the business.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious M&E Manager to join a brand new role within the business where you will have the opportunity to bring new idea's playing a pivotal role within a growing business and contributing to their success.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components of projects are well-coordinated, meet quality standards, and are completed within budget and to schedule constraints. Your role will consist of pre construction duties such as collaborating with M&E Consultants to ensure precision and practicality in drawings. As well as Construction duties including overseeing the M&E Contractor to ensure precise installation in accordance with the approved drawings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Electrical and Mechanical background with some plumbing experience, you have a strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical drawings in relation to refurbishment projects. You will be looking to take on a leading position on a variety of projects with progression opportunities.
The Role:

• Managing the M&E design and installation
• Liaising with external M&E Consultants ensuring drawings are accurate
• Managing the M&E contractor
• Making sure installations are to drawings
• Attending Construction team meetings

The Person

• Mechanical or Electrical qualification
• Experience working on Construction Projects
• Knowledge of liaising with M&E Consultants and overseeing contractors
• Full UK Driving License
