We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established legacy, luxury brand in search of an experienced Merchandise Planner to join this prestigious team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone operating at Planner level to drive sales and profitability in this world-renowned business while also taking a leadership role amongst this large and dynamic team. Based in London, with the flexibility of hybrid work (2-3 days in the office), you will be part of high-performing team and a well-established yet innovative business.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and reviewing financial plans, factoring trend analysis, historical performance and cross-team input.
- Oversee the WSSI
- Regularly present financials to senior management
- Provide buyers with appropriate OTB in line with company financial targets.
- Regularly prepare financial plans for sign off.
- Work closely with buyers in pre-season planning
- Managing risks and opportunities related to trading department.
- Forecast and regularly review sales projections and present to SMT regularly.
- Monitor intake, OTB position & stock
- Work closely with the Buying team and ensure changes are reflected in the WSSI.
- Provide regular forecast update and data analysis as required
- Deputise for senior manager as needed and take an active role in team management and development
- 3 years+ experience in a planning role
- Proven management or leadership skills and a passion for driving teams forward, coaching and assisting in team development
- Strong presentation skills, capable of delivering financial information and business strategies to diverse audiences..
- Excellent communication, problem solving and relationship building skills.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Excellent MS skills including advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups, h-lookups etc).
