An exciting opportunity for an MES Engineer to join the Engineering team of a leading manufacturer opening a brand new site in the Derbyshire region. You will use various software packages to develop and manage process control across the production processes onsite.

Description
- In this position you will use various software packages to develop and manage process control across the production process.
- You will be responsible for production IT improvement projects across the site.
- Work with NPI Project and process engineers to implement new products to existing and new production lines.
- Troubleshoot and solve production-based IT systems.
- Ensure customer satisfaction maintaining systems uptime, providing fit for purpose systems, ensuring robust systems and ease of working.
- Liaise with third party support / suppliers. When necessary.
- Assist Group production IT to Implement and maintain internationally recognised standards for systems Cyber security and the implementation of IT solutions (hardware and software.)
Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 / 15:30 Finish Friday
Profile
You will have experience of a manufacturing environment, ideally with knowledge of assembly processes, as well as:
- Recognised qualification in either Mechanical/Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- An understanding or control systems engineering & software is essential for this role
- Network management & troubleshooting skills (Wi-Fi/Ethercat/LAN/WAN)
- Flexible approach to work is required
