MFL (French with second subject) TEACHER JOB
· Salary: Inner London Pay Scale, MPS/UPS (£36,745 to £56,959)
· Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
· To Start: April, July (ECTs) or September 2024
· Location: SE15 2EB, London Borough of Southwark
We are looking to appoint a motivated and inspirational MFL Teacher (French and have the ability to offer a second subject, ideally Italian) to join our team of outstanding staff in this key curriculum area. This position is open to experienced teachers and ECTs.
In 2023, the outcomes for MFL were:
- A Level:
o Italian: Cohort size: 1, A*-A: 100%
o French: Cohort size: 4, A*-A: 25%, A*-B: 25%, A*-C: 25%, A*-D: 75%, A*-E: 100%
o Spanish: Cohort size: 1, A*-A: 100%
- GCSE:
o Italian: Cohort size: 64, 9-7: 23% and 9-5: 75%
o French: Cohort size: 51, 9-7: 61% and 9-5: 88%
o Spanish: Cohort size: 14, 9-7: 93%, 9-5: 100%
