Job description

Venesky-Brown's client, Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, is currently looking to recruit a HR MI Advisor on a rate of GBP28,783 to GBP30,00/annum - working 37 hours per week, but moving down to 35 hours per week from 1st October 2024. This role will be hybrid working with two days mandatory in the office per week.
Responsibilities:
- To work with the MI Analyst in the delivery of reporting requirements.
- To provide HR information to support key corporate projects and the established monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting requirements as outlined in the Reports Planner.
- To consult as required with Sheriff Clerks, court managers and other managers about the reports HR provides to them to ensure all needs are met where possible.
- To answer queries from and provide support to other HR Staff and where appropriate staff on HR systems including iTrent.
- Work with stakeholders and HR colleagues to identify areas of improvement
- Provide input to system configuration;
- Develop guidance and training materials
- Ensure governance processes are adhered to and maintained at all times.
- Support the development and publication of annual people reports such as, Gender Pay Gap, Equal Pay Statement, People Scorecard, People Survey, by providing accurate, clear, consistent and engaging analytics
- To undertake a regular overview of workforce profile data submitted in response to various requests including ACSES and ONS returns and operational manager requests to ensure consistency, validity and accuracy in the data submitted.
- To participate as member of project teams as and when required as per the project development activity outlined in the HRU Business Plan
- Provide input to system configuration
- Update internal processes & procedures with changes
- Maintain a robust governance framework to manage and monitor people data quality
- Deliver a data management and reporting provision for HR services by creating a reporting catalogue
- Undertake data cleanses of all people systems and information
- Working closely with other HR colleagues, maintain and update Asset Registers and HRU Planners, Trackers and Action Plans
- Work with stakeholders and HR colleagues to promote people metrics and support training
- Participate in working groups and other forums to share knowledge and experience
- Work with stakeholders and HR colleagues to identify areas of improvement
Essential Skills:
- Experience of Microsoft packages, specifically Microsoft excel.
- Efficient user of SAP Business Objects or similar data reporting tool
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HR systems and practices
- Applies technical/specialist knowledge to investigate and resolve problems, provide support and respond to customer queries.
- Skilled in working at pace whilst maintaining accuracy while maintaining compliance with governance processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, focused and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex information to audiences with varying degrees of expertise
- Has experience of using management information and how to present this information to a range of stakeholders.
- Reviews process, systems, practices and procedures to ensure quality of service delivery is maintained and improved.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge and experience of the MHR iTrent system
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
