Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Cannock
Reporting To: Warehouse Supervisor
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday
12:00 - 21:00
Please note that in 2024 the Company will be moving to a new purpose-built Distribution Centre in Wolverhampton and therefore the location of this role will be changed when the move takes place.
Main Purpose:
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to participate in our warehouse operations and activities at our site in Cannock. Responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Collating and processing initial order sheets for incoming and outgoing goods
Ensuring accuracy and quality of all goods are first class
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles with a Fork Lift Truck
Picking and Packing
Making sure all stock is labelled and stored correctly
Working with a “Customers First Choice” attitude
Essential Skills and Experience
Honest, reliable and dedicated
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Experienced in a warehouse environment
Ability to lift large loads
Desirable Skills and Experience
UK Driving Licence
Articulated Forklift Truck licence – not essential as we have an in-house trainer
