To ensure that the Repack machines are running efficiently to meet Repack KPI’s and fulfil customer demand.
To assist and support the management team to achieve the KPIs to meet the objectives for the contract/site whilst working to agreed quality standards.
Job Description
Role reports to: Supervisor
Direct Reports for role: None
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Shift: 4 on 4 off - Flexible hours.
Key Deliverables in role:
· To ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and other persons and to comply with the policies and procedures relating to health and safety within the company.
· To wear all PPE supplied by the company as suitable for the task, in the correct manner and as it was designed to be worn.
· To report all accidents, near misses and/or dangerous occurrences to a member of management.
· To fully assist any member of management with any investigation into accidents, near misses and/or dangerous occurrences.
· To accurately complete all appropriate documentation.
· To undertake any other duties commensurate with the position as designated by the line manager.
· To consistently check all products for quality issues.
Skills and Experience
· Experience in a packing operation or warehouse
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Good practical understanding of H & S
· Willingness and ability to learn new skills and working practices
Behaviors Required
· Communicates effectively at all levels.
· Able to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the operation
· Ability to work under pressure
· Self-motivated and structured in approach to work.
