Mid-Weight FF&E Designer - High-End Residential & Commercial
This award-winning design studio in West London is seeking a talented Mid-Weight FF&E Designer to join their growing team. You will play a pivotal role in bringing high-end residential and commercial projects to life, from concept design to final installation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior designers and project managers on a variety of high-profile residential and commercial projects.
- Develop and present creative FF&E concepts that align with client briefs and project budgets.
- Conduct thorough product research and source high-quality furniture, fixtures, artwork, and accessories from a wide range of vendors.
- Create detailed FF&E specifications, including space planning, technical drawings, and material selections.
- Manage FF&E procurement and budgeting, ensuring all items are procured within budget and on schedule.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and artisans to ensure the quality and timely delivery of FF&E items.
- Conduct site visits and participate in FF&E installation to ensure seamless execution of the design intent.
- Manage and maintain a strong knowledge of current design trends, materials, and finishes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our FF&E resource library.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FF&E design for high-end residential or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and ergonomics.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe CS, SketchUp).
- A keen eye for detail, exceptional taste, and a passion for high-quality design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience working within a budget is a plus.
