Our high-end client is seeking a PR & Marketing Assistant to join their exclusive design business.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Head of PR & Marketing, and must be able to demonstrate a thirst for efficiency, initiative, and have strong verbal, written and organisational skills.
This role is pivotal to the success of the team and offers a great opportunity to get hands on experience throughout the business.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Apple software, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop is essential – and confident social media platforms.
Gaps in training will be offered for the right candidate.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Management of supplier collaborations
- Liaising with suppliers, stylist, locations and photographers / assisting with PR and Marketing strategies / launches and campaigns
- Assist with photoshoots / social media strategy
- Manage relevant subscriptions
- Maintain marketing and mailing list activity (using InDesign and Photoshop to design content - training as required)
- Assist with scanning, cataloguing and filing visuals
- Assist with coordinating events, internal / client & industry
- Assist website maintenance (Wordpress)
- Mailing samples and coordinating orders
- Assist Office Manager and Receptionist
- Assist with recruitment of designers and Work Experience candidates
Hours: 9.30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Holiday: 20 days holiday per annum, plus Christmas closure and Bank Holidays (holiday allowance increases after 2 years)
Salary: £26,000 + discretionary twice yearly bonus scheme
