Our client, a membership organisation is currently recruiting for a Marketing Communications Coordinator.

Job Purpose: Co-ordinate the communications schedule for marketing comms email communications, to ensure business requirements are efficiently and effectively delivered.

The role of the Marketing Communications Coordinator

The successful candidate will be a Marketing Communications Coordinator. Reporting to the Marketing Manager your responsibilities will be to co-ordinate and deliver the organisation's Marketing Communications with a particular focus on commercial activities, digital communications, and social media initiatives.

• Co-ordinate the communications schedule for marketing comms email communications, to ensure business requirements are efficiently and effectively delivered.
• Write, design and construct emails and social media assets to ensure marketing is delivered in a timely and high-quality manner.
• Co-ordinate the production of marketing materials/campaigns (with a specific focus on their commercial events including annual conference), as required, with the external designer/s and internal digital team.
• Work with the Digital Manager to ensure updates are made to their website in a timely manner.
• Schedule marketing campaigns across the organisation to ensure the most effective and efficient delivery.
• Take responsibility for publishing and maintaining the Commercial Events conference programme on their website.
• Work with the Events & Operations Director, Marketing Manager and Digital Team on the delivery of their Annual Conference marketing and digital campaign.

About you

Person Specification

• At least 3 years’ experience in a marketing role within a commercial B2B environment.
• Experience or knowledge of PPC campaigns
• Experience in Email Marketing Systems, Microsoft Office & CRM systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Some knowledge of Photoshop would be advantageous
• Some knowledge of HTML would be advantageous
