About the Role:
As a Social Media and Communications Coordinator, you will play a crucial role within the communications and marketing team. Your responsibilities will include managing multiple Social Media accounts, crafting engaging content, utilising social listening tools, and reporting key metrics to enhance the communication strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Promote Social Media usage throughout the charity, ensuring effective platform utilisation.
- Develop and implement Social Media plans for campaigns, meeting set objectives and key performance indicators.
- Deliver Social Media campaigns within budget, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to amplify key messages and campaigns internally.
- Build and maintain a library of engaging Social Media content.
- Use Social Media management tools for scheduling, reviewing, and responding to messages.
- Create graphics, including animations, suitable for various Social Media platforms.
- Provide performance analytics reports and propose changes for future campaigns.
- Monitor competitor activity and emerging trends in Social Media.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent understanding of and writing for all Social Media channels.
- Experience in developing and executing paid Social Media campaigns.
- Proficiency in using Social Media scheduling tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to produce regular and bespoke reports on Social Media performance.
- Familiarity with content management systems and digital user experience.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs, particularly Photoshop.
