The provider also has an AEB contract of £4m and an established Data & Funding service working on Adult Learning. This person will be responsible for setting up the Funding & MIS Apprenticeship service.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a MIS, Funding & Data Manager with expertise in apprenticeships. As we expand, there is a crucial need to bolster our Data & MI capabilities, particularly within our Apprenticeship division.
The successful candidate will spearhead efforts to analyse data comprehensively, establish robust processes, and collaborate closely with the Managing Director to instil a culture of data and MI excellence within the Apprenticeship business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new processes to streamline data management, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Data & MI team and senior management, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Act as an apprenticeship funding expert, possessing a deep understanding of ESFA funding rules and regulations.
- Establish an internal audit cycle to monitor error rates, drive continuous improvement, and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the apprenticeship sector, with a strong understanding of funding and regulatory responsibilities of an Apprenticeship provider.
- Prior experience in conducting internal audits, managing DAS & ILR for an Apprenticeship provider
- Experience manipulating large data sets and advanced Excel skills would be advantageous.
