Job Title: Mission Systems Project Manager

Salary: £59,771 + depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
- Management of the Mission Systems relating to Schedule, Analysis and Configuration
- Cost Analysis
- Reporting to the Control Account Managers and Head of Domain
- Issue resolution, escalation, and task prioritisation
- Programme Interface (Global Combat Air Programme activities)
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management
- Managing team who will look after sub-domain delivery elements: planning, task management, budget (Bought Out/Labour) management & variance analysis, risk and opportunity management, asset management, Intellectual Property management (marking/tracking), output/artefact management, change control (Baseline Change Request generation and submission)
- Managing team who will look after integration elements for Mission Systems domain: Engineering Integration team mobilisation in the UK, Engineering Integration team mobilisation support internationally, dependency management, intellectual property management, resource management, facilities and capacity accommodation management
Your skills and experiences:
- Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Project Management (tools, techniques, practices)
- Demonstrates basic awareness of commercial practices within own project area
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to persuade and influence internal & external stakeholders
- Able to resolve complex, project-related problems that do not have routine solutions, but the norm is to follow established procedures

The FCAS Delivery team:
As part of the FCAS Delivery Team, the Project Management team has been assimilated to provide support both to domain delivery and domain integration in addition to enabling broader FCAS Delivery integration activities. This role specifically, leads the Project Management team within the Mission Systems domain and looks after two sub teams which seeks to execute these domain demands. Scope of work supports three contracts, will be both delivered nationally (through FCAS - Future Combat Aircraft Systems LoB and other BU/Operations) and internationally (through the EIT construct)
