Our client is a major London based practice that have built a particular reputation in the field of media and entertainment. Media and related clients now account for a major part of their business and they work with some of the biggest names in entertainment. They also focus on a number of specific markets in legal, pharmaceutical, healthcare and property sectors.
They are now looking to appoint a technically competent personal Tax Manager to join their team. You will be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, have excellent interpersonal skills together with an ability and interest in understanding your clients' business.
Responsibilities
- Managing a team providing quality compliance services across personal tax and corporate tax compliance.
- Focusing on providing clients with comprehensive tax advice, with a very mixed role across both personal and corporate tax.
- Working on comprehensive tax planning and advisory work, with examples across capital tax planning, IHT, trusts, wills, property-related tax advice and tax implications and planning for succession for example.
- Significant involvement in corporate tax related work as well with the potential for involvement in mergers, sales and acquisitions tax advice, company reorganisations, R&D and other areas of corporate tax planning;
- To collaborate closely with business leaders, and to approach your work with a competitive and ambitious entrepreneurial mindset;
Qualifications and Skills
- You will be any of ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified with a career background in tax compliance and advisory/planning tax, gained within an accounting firm, or tax boutique firm.
- CTA qualified with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
