SalaryEscape time-sheets by moving into a Tax Technical role with a prominent accountancy firm.
Our client has a high profile, multi award-winning Tax practice. They seek a CTA qualified Tax Manager, with a broad awareness of the UK tax issues effecting businesses and individuals, to maintain and distribute Tax Technical knowledge to the fee-earners and partners.
The role will include keeping the teams updated on the latest tax rule changes and case law, providing technical seminars, undertaking research, providing briefing notes, keeping the Tax Knowledge Centre up to date and drafting Tax Technical news articles for clients, the team and the public.
The CTA qualification is essential together with strong technical knowledge of either personal or business/corporate taxation. However, an awareness of broader UK tax issues is important, as well as a willingness to develop one's knowledge across property, reward, OMB, corporate and personal tax issues.
Scope exists to work remotely 3-4 days a week, with the balance in the firm's London, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester or Southampton offices.
Salary will be dependent on experience and location, but is likely to be in the region £50k-£65k + bens + bonus.
