Enjoy 20 days of holidays plus 8 UK bank holidays.Job Purpose: As a Mobile Plant Operator, you'll be instrumental in our operations, driving the loading shovel, managing stockpiles, and maintaining a clean and efficient site environment. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth production processes while adhering to safety protocols.Key Responsibilities: Drive Mobile Plant equipment, ensuring continuous operation and efficient material handling. Manage aggregate loading for incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining stock levels. Operate and maintain the aggregate screening plant, promptly reporting any issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization across the site, including equipment and confined spaces. Demonstrate a proactive approach to safety, leading by example and promoting a culture of compliance. Provide support to the Team Leader in stock control and daily tasks. Assist production teams as needed, contributing to overall operational success.What We're Looking For:Essential Skills / Experience: Proficiency in operating front-end loaders with appropriate qualifications. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for cleanliness and maintenance. Demonstrated reliability and accountability in previous roles.Desirable Skills / Experience: Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in waste, aggregates, or concrete. Ability to contribute ideas for process improvement and innovation. Formal training in Health & Safety or Environmental practices is a plus.
