Job description

Job Title: Mortgage Administrator.
Location: Office based Part Time (20 Hours) in Colchester, Essex.

Target: IT literate candidates with experience of administration and Customer Service in an office-based environment

Salary: £12000, Working 20 hours per week, working hours and days can be negotiated and we will consider school friendly hours.

Working Hours: 20 Hours per week.

Timeline: Immediate Interviews with a March Start.

In 2023 we handled over 15,000 mortgage applications. Our Helpline teams and Mortgage and Protection Advisers have considerable knowledge and experience of mortgage products that are particularly geared towards the new homes market, as well as having established relationships with key mortgage lenders. We are now looking for an additional Administrator to join our Mortgage Admin Team. The role offers full training, and we are looking for a bright, hardworking and enthusiastic administrator to support our Mortgage Specialist teams.

Main Purpose of Job:

To provide efficient and reliable documentation to relevant housing associations and lenders. To provide telephone and email feedback to potential mortgage customers and housebuilders, as well as ad hoc administrative support.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • To answer incoming calls for Partridge Mortgage Services, in relation to Home Stepper, keeping call waiting times to a minimum.
  • To follow the Shared Ownership process for relevant HA’s, including checking and submitting customer documentation.
  • To provide the highest level of service to our customers.
  • To provide the highest level of service to our housebuilders.
  • To meet the agreed performance targets and standards.
  • Ensure you are always working within GDPR guidelines.
  • Provide full administrative support to the Partridge Mortgage Services operation.
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required by the senior Management Team.
  • To promote a consistent, high quality, customer-focused approach to business processes, ensuring that you contribute to the Consumer Duty obligations, considering these obligations in all actions and decisions that are taken, and ensure this requirement is always adhered to along with the company’s compliance procedures.
