Motorsport Marketing Executive

As our Motorsport Marketing Executive, you'll be instrumental in supporting the Head of Motorsport Marketing. This role requires an incredible amount of work, but with the right attitude, resilience, and adaptability, it’ll help you excel within the role. You need to have a go-getter attitude, be personable, and possess a humble and confidential nature. Trust and unity within the team will be essential, as you'll be working closely with the Motorsport Marketing agency to support and guide each other.

Your remit will involve supporting the & Head of Motorsport Marketing in creating and distributing marketing assets to maximise opportunities from our motorsport activations. You'll also take the lead in creating and distributing F1/Motorsport-related content throughout the season, as well as developing Aston Martin's customer/dealer activation plan for the Valkyrie Hypercar racing programme. Additionally, you'll liaise with our Motorsport Marketing agency to manage guest experiences and ticket processes for regional teams and customers attending F1 and WEC races.

After each race, you'll create post-race reports detailing our performance across various channels and ensure that Aston Martin's content portal 'Brandhub' is up to date with recent race imagery. Collaborating with the digital marketing team, you'll ensure an accurate representation of Motorsport on our website, configurator, and social channels. Furthermore, you'll handle transport bookings for vehicles used in F1 events and manage the diary and transport for F1 Show Assets. Supporting the on-track driving experience team and assisting with team events at Silverstone Circuit will also be part of your responsibilities.

Your responsibility in this role will be to understand the purpose and essence of it. What would interest you is the opportunity to be involved in the road car aspect, rather than just the F1 side. This role is mostly data-driven and requires someone to be practical and willing to do what is necessary to achieve results and deliver.

The Key Requirements...

• Degree in any discipline
• Experience working in the Automotive/Motorsports sectors.
• Passion for Automotive more than events or F1
• Have an interest and understanding of F1 and wider motorsport.
• Full UK driving licence.
• UK Passport (for international travel)
• Live within commutable distance to Gaydon and Silverstone.
• Experience working within a Luxury brand – familiar with high-end luxury – boats/watches etc. (desirable)

You’ll have exceptional communication skills and have the confidence to influence and persuade other teams and functions to meet deliverables and objectives where required. You’ll have excellent time management and organisational skills as you’ll be working to multiple ever-changing priorities/deadlines using your judgment and pre-empting any issues before they may arise. You’ll be highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis. You’ll be based near the Gaydon and Silverstone sitesThis role requires travel within the UK and overseas therefore there is an expectation of travel on an as-and-when requirement with overnight stays.
