Injection Mould Shop Team Leader urgently required to set and operate several injection moulding machines utilised to produce a range of specialist products. The role will suit and Experienced Injection Moulding operator who has worked hands on and looked after several other operators.

We are looking for a Team leader who can step up and support the production manager and aid with the the distribution of work to the team, production planning, working with engineering and maintenance team, liaising with product development to ensure the team can run effectively and deliver customers' orders.

Role Responsibilities;

• Manage small team of Operators.
• Distribute work and aid in production planning
• Be very familiar with moulding processes
• Report material usage, mould issues.
• Inspect first off products with Quality supervisor.
• Document shot weights, scrap etc.
• Monitor material movement, handling and preparation (drying time, regrind etc.)
• Recommend and document any changes to process settings (when, why and how).
• Report any BOM discrepancies.
• Support process engineer in trials, FATs and improvement activities.
• Ensure equipment available is used to fullest capacity.
• Document cycle times for planning.
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times and take a proactive approach.
• Be proactive with a positive 'can do' approach, and role model our company values and behaviours.
• Work closely with new hires to develop their skills in order to meet company needs.
• Utilise all software used by the Company, including Klipfolio, Microsoft Teams and encourage your team to do the same.

Requirements;

• Intermediate level MS Office -Word, Outlook.
• Interested in understanding technical aspects of the business.
• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines.
• Excellent time and task management, communication and team working skills.
• Good report skills, with excellent written & spoken English.

Working Hours

45 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 7.00am until 4:30pm
