About the company

Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client a British multinational automobile manufacturer which produces luxury vehicles and sport utility vehicles. They are looking for a Test Engineer to join their expanding team on an 18 month rolling contract basis. The role will be based in Solihull / Ryton / Castle Bromwich as required.

Job Description

As a MP & L Senior Analyst, your main responsibilities are:

• Although initial requirement is to be based at Ryton, requirements are subject to change with the possibility of movement to Block 35 (part of the Solihull main plant) and potentially Castle Bromwich in the future.
• To support the team where required, both the support and warehouse functions
• Co-ordinate MP&L records and key business documents inc., Scorecards, Safety Plans, Six Panels
• Lead audit readiness activity both internal and external UTAC audits
• Support logistic strategy reviews

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Have a thorough, logical and structured approach to problem solving, with high attention to detail
• Can Demonstrate / has proven ability within a senior MP&L role
• Able to multi-task and prioritise under pressure
• Highly driven individual with proven project management and leadership skills, able to build, motivate and lead cross functional teams to resolve cross-functional issues
• A leader who can demonstrate a high level of motivation and resourcefulness
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision when necessary to deliver key objectives
