As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will work closely with the production team to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all preventative maintenance is conducted in advance to avoid production disruption. To be pro-active, identifying and recommending areas of improvement to achieve the necessary continuity and efficiency of production.

Multi Skilled Engineer

The Candidate

Essential:

* Apprentice Trained
* Higher National Certificate / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Desirable:

* Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
* FMCG experience
* Fault finding experience.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Multi Skilled Engineer

The Role

* To work safely at all times.
* To assist in achieving maximum production efficiency, by using a pro-active approach in preventative / predictive maintenance techniques.
* To keep downtime to a minimum by effectively dealing with breakdowns as and when they occur.
* To carry out all types of engineering installations including; electrical, mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, pipe work.
* To fault find on various equipment
* To make alterations and suggestions for Continuous Improvement.
* To provide drawings, measurements & specifications of spares required.
* To comply and assist with all technical and HACCP requirements to ensure the best product quality.
* To supervise contractor activity where required
* Support and carry out any other reasonable requests as requested by the Engineering Management Team.
