Our client is looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established company within the FMCG Industry. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Duties / Responsibilities
Strong fault diagnosis skills on industrial electrical and mechanical systems to rectify breakdowns to production machinery and site facilities including:
- CNC Cutting Machines
- Manual Cutting Machines
- Grauff and Feather Machines
- Fabrication Booths
- Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all engineering work carried out on site is completed to the required safety standards.
- Issue permits to work and monitor contractor performance.
- Monitor and record the performance of production equipment
