We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our friendly team based at Dove Holes in Buxton.

Main ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Multi Skilled Operative you will be responsible

Continually help to improve the safety, quality and productivity standards on site​, taking a proactive, solutions-based approach to problem solving, engineering and ongoing machine performance issues.
Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation
Produce quality packed aggregates to a production gold standard, in accordance with customer specifications across multiple product variations.
Be fully accountable for machine production outputs aligned to the sites S&OP production targets on a monthly basis​.
Responsible for carrying out machine specific OLM interventions inline with the agreed schedules; including the recording and reporting of information.​ Ensure all documentation relating to safety, performance etc is adhered to.
Supporting the mobile fitting teams in fault diagnosis, repairs and planned maintenance activities​.
Ensure housekeeping and visual standards are maintained across all production areas in line with health and safety, CI objectives and 5S requirements – being proud of your equipment and working environment​.
Help deliver skills, knowledge and behaviours to peers, acting as a lead trainer and mentor for future succession planning.

The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role as well as:

IOSH advantageous​.
Experience in a fast–paced production industry​.
Proven Operational/Engineering  Experience.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
