Multi-Skilled Security Team Leader

As a Multi-Skilled Security Team Leader at Inland Border Facilities Sevington, Ashford. Your role is vital in making sure that we provide a safe and secure environment for our clients. You will be overseeing a team of around 20 people to ensure the day to day operation on site runs smoothly. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do: 

General on site security and patrolling of the site
Managing the queuing system for the drivers on site 
Managing the flow of all vehicles through the site 
Ensure effective communication with the line manager, team and customer.
Be required to undertake different duties on shift within the Rapid Response team.
Supervise the team to ensure workload is managed 
React to workload spikes across the site based on unexpected vehicle volume
To remove safely any vehicles or persons that need to be removed from the site.
To manage and respond to customer requests.

What you bring: 

Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities  
SIA license
Excellent communication and awareness skills 
Experience in working in a similar role 
Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures
