ENGINEER - FOOD MANUFACTURING (ON SHIFT)

4 on 4 off 12 Hour Shift Pattern 6 until 6 Days and Nights (Permanent Nights Available)

David Wood Baking Ltd is a food manufacturing organisation with a site based in Spalding. We have over 20 years experience in the food business and currently produce a range of quality products for the retail and food service industry from seven high-tech factories.

About the role

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineers to join our fast-growing team and business based in Spalding.

You will be responsible for carrying out both mechanical and electrical repairs and planned maintenance on a variety of manufacturing machinery and equipment, such as mixers, conveyor systems, dividers/moulders, provers, ovens, coolers, flow wrappers, metal detectors and box erectors.

Your duties will include :-

· Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime

· Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding

· Complete PPM tasks, equipment servicing and overhauls

· Get involved in continuous improvement actions across the site

· Assist our apprentices in their learning and development

· Help train machine operators in how to get the most from their equipment

· Complete maintenance logs, so that trends can be identified and breakdowns prevented

· Work in accordance with all health and safety regulations and standards

This role will suit candidates who have worked in a food manufacturing environment before.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
