AddressBrightwork recruitment are currently looking for expierienced muliti Skilled Technician to join our client based in Blantyre.
The position forms part of the Blantyre production team and is a multi-skilled role covering a number of functions within the team:
Specific duties
- Responsible for operating production line as part of a team.
- To respond to specific requests for basic engineering, repairs and maintenance throughout the Blantyre facility.
- 3rd party supplier management for complex engineering tasks
- To minimise production line down time through an effective system of planned maintenance and prompt corrective actions in the event of breakdowns.
- To respond quickly to breakdowns.
- To ensure full documentation and records are maintained in respect of maintenance and breakdowns.
- To recommend appropriate courses of action for line improvements and manage the implementation of new equipment in conjunction with suppliers and manufacturers.
Ideal candidate
- Experience in working in a food manufacturing environment (Essential)
- Mechanical & Electrical engineering experience (Essential)
- Basic welding qualifications and experience (Essential)
- Microsoft Office skills (Desirable)
- Full driving license (Essential)
