Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one ( we can help with this ).
- PGCE & QTS.
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one musical instrument and vocal performance
- Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and various genres
- Proven experience in teaching music to students of different age groups and skill levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to individual student's needs and goals
- Teach fundamental music techniques, sight-reading, music theory, and ear training
- Guide students in repertoire selection and performance preparation
- Conduct regular assessments to track student's progress and provide constructive feedback
- Organise and coordinate student recitals, competitions, and other performance opportunities
- Stay updated with current trends and advancements in music education
