We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher for an immediate start, ready to inspire young minds in a thriving secondary school in Bradford. Day to Day of the role:- Delivering high-quality music education to students at KS3 and KS4 levels, with the potential to teach up to KS5.
- Employing effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging music lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
- Assessing and recording students’ progress, providing feedback to foster their development.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s music department.
- Communicating effectively with students, staff, parents, and external organisations.
- PGCE in Music or a related subject.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management principles.
- Safeguarding training (provided by Reed if necessary).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to the dynamic nature of teaching.
- Candidates must hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS and have it on the update system upon registration.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
