Prospero work closely with a large secondary schools in Wigan who are seeking a Qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their teams on a supply basis to start as soon as possible. This role is a full-time position and could consist of day to day, short term or long term contracts depending on needs on the school. You are required to hold (QTS) Qualified Teacher Status.
The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistant/management.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Wigan
- Position - Music Teacher with QTS
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract type - Full Time
- Minimum rate of pay - £120 per day
- Hours - 8:00AM - 4:00PM
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, SCITT or equivalent
- Previous experience teaching Music in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, but training can be provided)
- Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, but training can be provided)
- Music teaching experience desired
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional teaching related references
