Musical and Administrative Assistant to Ralph Allwood

Role title: Musical and Administrative Assistant

Time commitment: 4 hours a week (on a flexible basis depending on workload)

Contract Length: 12 months, with possible extension pending annual review. To be engaged on a flexible part-time self-employed basis

Remuneration: £25 per hour (pre-tax)

Reporting to: Ralph Allwood

Location: WFH with regular visits to meet with RA in Pimlico, London.

Start date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

Musical Assistant

• Keeping music library and ensuring catalogue is up to date
• Assisting in transcribing compositions to Sibelius
• Choosing music for services with RA
• Reading through new music and judging how good it is
• Putting together programmes for concerts
• Writing programme notes

Administration

• Organising ad-hoc concerts RA is involved in outside the Rodolfus Foundation
• Overseeing/assisting with tour management for choirs RA is involved in outside the Rodolfus Foundation
• Assisting with general admin for RA's freelance work

Development

• Sourcing and making fundraising approaches for various musical projects
