Account Manager
£37,500, Hassocks (own transport essential), Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, Hybrid working (2 days at home), Pension, Parking, 25 days holiday.
The Role
Due to fabulous company growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturer and retailer of luxury wellbeing products. Reporting to the Head of Account Management and working as part of the Sales and Account Management team, this role will see you supporting account management and category management responsibilities with a large £1million+ account. this position will be busy from day one. We are looking for someone who combines commercial awareness, exceptional organisational skill and effective influencing skills to handle some of the significant own label business in some of the biggest accounts in the country The successful candidate will work closely with these customers and coordinate internal departments to ensure our client deliver best-in-class products that sell well for the accounts while maximising profitability.
- Lead on presenting our Branded, Exclusive and overstock channels and drive sales with TK and TJ Maxx
- Use market knowledge of Retail pricing and instore merchandising, along with advanced negotiation skills to help shape exclusive ranges for a large retailer.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders in Production, Design and Technical to create compelling ranges that are delivered on time, in full.
- Assist on our extensive Category Management businesses with large, well-known retailers, growing business through a consultative approach with their internal teams, ensuring that the company is continued to be regarded as the market expert and that produced "own brand" lines operate harmoniously with the company's products.
- Liaise closely with the respective Account Managers for key accounts.
- Drive profitability across Category Management business.
- Look for and implement product synergies across existing and potential new accounts.
- Ensure focus and engagement across internal departments to ensure we adhere to the planned critical path.
Requirements
We would expect the successful Account Manager to ideally have experience in a Sales or Account Management environment. Experience in dealing with large retailers and their buying teams is required in this role, and exposure to the following sectors would be highly beneficial, but not essential: Health and Beauty / Personal Care / Bath and Body / Wellbeing. You will be a confident communicator who is naturally adept at developing relationships and comfortable presenting to clients. Understanding manufacturing, logistics and distribution would be useful. The most important thing for my client is a positive attitude to your work and a natural ability to positively influence internal and external stakeholders.

Package
Up to £37,500 depending on experience.
Hurstpierpoint outskirts (Own Transport essential)
