Job Title:National Account Manager

Location: Maidstone, Kent (with travel for any face-to-face meetings and industry events, company car provided)

With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we help clients recover from emergencies such as Fire, Flood, Oil/Chemical spills, etc As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team in Maidstone.

Role Overview:

As an Account Manager at Ideal Response, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our current customers and driving revenue growth within our existing client base. You will play a crucial role in identifying a company's hierarchy, up-selling & cross-selling opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and maximising customer satisfaction - our Google and Trust Pilot reviews are second to none.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment (we are an immediate response 24/7 business) and is passionate about driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and cultivate relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximise revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and communications to build rapport and trust with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Technical Account Managers, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients - although the delivery and operation will be primarily down the Technical Account Manager, it's good for you to have an understanding of this process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Proactively address client concerns and escalate issues as needed to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of notes, tasks, and Opportunities using SalesForce.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an outbound sales or account management role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Motivated and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively. We are a premium and market leader.
  • Knowledge of SalesForce CRM system and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite would be an advantage.
  • Drivers Licence
