National Account Manager - Retail

Castle Dairies is a family run butter and spreads manufacturer that is based in South Wales. Our award winning products can be seen in many of the retailers. We truly are the home of great tasting butter.

If you are ready to take on an exciting challenge in a company that's constantly evolving and expanding, then we may have the position just for you! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Account Manager to join our thriving team.

Key Responsibilities

Full sales and gross margin responsibility for designated accounts.

Whilst managing existing accounts, this role will also typically involve elements of business development.

Developing joint business plans.

Supporting the Brand Manager with the growth of our brand.

Managing price negotiations.

Build effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Use customer sales data to support consumer insights and drive commercial actions to grow sales.

Working in conjunction with NPD Manager to showcase innovation.

This role reports to the Head of Sales.

About You

Previous experience as a National Account Manager.

Strong administration, communication and analytical skills.

A passion for the food industry, strong understanding of retail markets.

High levels of commercial and financial acumen.

Confident, motivated and determined character.

Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

Have a creative mind.

Have a high attention to detail with great presentation ability.

Excellent at building relationships both internally and externally.

Previous experience in the dairy sector would be an advantage but not essential.
