We have a brilliant new opportunity for a Net ZeroNational SalesDevelopment ManagerIn this role you will be accountable for all aspects of the Net Zero Sales Support function, Channel Development, and overall Sales Performance. This role will require a deep understanding of Net Zero products and solutions, to aid design and implementation of successful sales programs to meet the business growth ambitions. As a senior member of the Home Installations sales team contributing to the strategic leadership of the retail portfolio, you will communicate and build stakeholder relationships with operational leaders and key stakeholders influencing up to CLT level.

Location: With our Flexible First working arrangements we empower our colleagues to work in a way that best suits them – meaning location doesn’t need to be a barrier. This role can be mostly based at home with occasional travel required. This may be national travel requiring overnight stays.

Key Accountabilities:

Development of vision and strategy:

  • Translating strategic priorities into a clearly understood cultural change of direction narrative that translates into specific initiatives/workstreams.  Ensure a coherent colleague and stakeholder narrative.

Sales Support:

  • Control of compliant sales collateral (design & sign-off)
  • Control of Field Sales equipment & systems (fit for purpose and up to date)
  • Responsibility for Field Sales process design/controls (compliant process, new products & services etc.)
  • Responsibility for Non-Field Sales process design/controls (compliant process, new products & services etc.)

Sales Channel Development:

  • Engagement and liaison with internal stakeholders
  • Liaison with external channel owners (Commercial, Marcomms, Digital)
  • Reporting and analysis of ‘top of funnel’ performance

Sales Performance:

  • Liaison with leadership of sales delivery functions.

Data & Insights

  • Undertakes detailed quantitative analysis of relevant data points and insight for strategic programme decisions.
  • Research best business practices within and outside the organisation to establish benchmark data, change management and measurement.

 

Programme Management

  • Communicating with senior management and the programme governance authorities (Exec Sponsor, Programme Board, Steering Committee etc) with the frequency and formality that they deem necessary.

Who are we looking for?

  • Ability to navigate internal and external networks in order to access resources to optimise the Net Zero sales channel 
  • In doing so can bring the outside in; create positive disruption, challenge the status quo through thorough knowledge of the established and new Sales Channels
  • Typically, has worked on multi-disciplinary projects/competing priorities.
  • Ideally has a broad knowledge of the broader Centrica business activities and HR Centres of excellence.
  • Comfortable in stakeholder management up to CLT level
  • Prince2 or similar project management methodologies certification would be desirable.
  • Entry level Six Sigma certification would be desirable.
  • Strong literacy and numerical ability.
