We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to join an extremely reputable, fast growing B2B manufacturing business supplying into retail environments (including Hardware/DIY stores/Merchants).
The company head office is based in Northern Ireland, with a strong presence in Irish Markets. However this role is pivotal in growing the business in UK mainland markets.
As a National Sales Manager your main purpose is to build strong customer relationships across the UK whilst identifying sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of a National Sales Manager:
- Establish productive and professional relationships with Buying Groups and Head Office accounts.
- Conduct face-to-face visits at store level with both prospective and current customers to
- Identify opportunities for sales growth.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations with excellent product knowledge, confidently articulating features and benefits
- Perform store audits to identify areas for improvement and clarify customer needs before presenting solutions.
- As the sales grow and the requirement for additional resource arises, you will play a key part in developing and overseeing area sales territories.
- Collaborate closely with the office-based Business Development Executive/Manager to capitalise on opportunities and maintain CRM records to manage the opportunities pipeline effectively.
This role will involve extensive travel across the UK, and requires a high level of flexibility. You are likely to be on the road 4 days a week visiting customers, with 1 day at home.
Requirements- Proven strategic sales experience with a track record of opening new accounts and achieving sales targets.

- Full UK Driving License or equivalent
- Salary of £60,000-£65,000 per annum (DOE)
- Performance related bonus (OTE £70,000+)
