About the role:

Astute’s Renewables team is working with a market leader in renewable energy. The company own and operate three state of the art facilities that produces biogas from food waste through the process of anaerobic digestion. They are looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to be based at their site in Doncaster.

The National Sales & Marketing Manager will play a vital role in targeting producers of food and organic waste and to develop new business while maintain existing relationships. The role comes with a salary of �55,000, car allowance or company car and excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Director/Head of Supply Chain, you will:

* Manage the Sales & Marketing team to ensure agreed targets and objectives are achieved
* Preparing quotes in line with the agreed pricing strategy and re-negotiating terms where appropriate.
* Gathering and maintaining up-to-date market intelligence, monitoring competitor activity (services and prices), and reacting as required
* Plan and implement a sales strategy in line with budgeted growth
* Develop and maintain a potential pipeline of customers both regional and national
* Identify business opportunities for suitable organic waste streams; liaise with the sales team to ensure opportunities are progressed
* Analyse the sales team, performance to understand trends and growth opportunities
* Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising & promotional activities
* Identify opportunities for sales campaigns
* Provide technical support and advice to customers
* Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

* A recognised degree is desired but not essential
* Educated to a minimum A-Level, or equivalent

Personal skills:
The National Sales & Marketing Manager role would suit someone who has:

* Experience working in Sales & Marketing at a management level
* Experience working the waste/recycling sector and food waste industry
* Experience working within a commercial B2B sales environment
* Excellent communication and oral presentation skills
* A passion for the renewable energy and sustainability sector
