JOB TITLE: NDT Operator (Permanent role)

SALARY: negotiable depending on experience
HOURS PER WEEK: 37 hours
SHIFTS: Mon-Thurs 0700am until 15.30pm then Friday until 12.00pm
START DATE: ASAP

Role Summary
My client is looking to recruit a NDT Operations individual at their site based in Derby.
Main responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the NDT operational requirements within the workshop and the review of offsite teams reports.
Responsible for all aspects of each project, ensuring the safe and effective completion of work on time and to agreed quality standards in a timely manner.
Direct communication with Operations Manager and Workshop Supervisor regarding work planning, work co-ordination and scheduling of weekly operational requirements
Ensuring site compliance, equipment calibration status, personnel competence, procedure compliance and NDT reporting in a timely manner.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Full driving license.
Previous NDT experience.
Must be PCN Level II Qualified NDT in; MPI, DPI and UT- PCN/ASNT. Level 3 in one or more disciplines would also be beneficial.
Proven leadership experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to manage in accordance with customer expectations.
Ability to work on their own initiative and in a team environment.
High attention to detail.
