Due to the partnership between Hays and Sandwell Council we are looking for a Neighbourhood Officer to join the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) team on a full-time temporary basis.
Your new role
As a Neighbourhood Officer within the ASB team you will be at the heart of delivering excellent services, manage a busy caseload for a designated town or portfolio within Sandwell, as well as representing the team at a variety of meetings and events. You will need to show passion for ASB work and investigation with a customer focus. The post-holder will focus on resolving and reducing ASB within their town while supporting victims and managing a complex caseload. You will need to be proactive in partnership working with local Councillors, Community Groups, volunteers and other agencies to deliver excellent services and respond to customer needs.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week based in Sandwell Council House.
What you\'ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar ASB role and/or have significant skills in investigation, prevention activities and legal proceedings. This role is an ASAP start so we will also require 2 references from your 2 most recent employers to complete registration and to process your application to the next stage.
