Learning and Development Manager
Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum

About the role
St Elizabeth’s is a charity based in the heart of Much Hadham, near the towns of Bishops Stortford and Harlow. We support children, young people and adult day clients with Epilepsy, Autism, learning disabilities and other complex needs. We have an ambitious people strategy and know that in order to succeed, our people are our biggest strength. Learning and Development is high on our agenda and we are searching for an exceptional Learning and Development Manager to join our talented team.
You will lead on the formulation of a successful Learning and Development Strategy, ensuring our workforce are equipped with the skills, knowledge and abilities necessary to provide exceptional services. You will deliver innovative, engaging and best practice blended Learning and Development initiatives to support the mandatory and bespoke training needs for staff across all areas. Your well-honed management skills will see you effectively oversee the day to day operations of the assessment and training team.
About you
We are looking for someone with a CIPD qualification in HR or Learning and Development, with previous experience working in a HR environment. The right candidate will have experience of conducting training needs analysis, identifying development needs at individual and strategic level, with an understanding of working within regulatory frameworks. You will be a “Super User” of the Learning Management System and will maximise the Apprenticeship Levy, encouraging a culture of learning that enables staff to use all of the resources available to them to shape their learning.
