Network Security Architect
Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Network Security Architect to work with a key client
Responsibilities
* Design and implement Network Security Architectures that align with our business requirements and security policies.
* Research and evaluate new Network Security technologies and vendors, and integrate them into our network environment.
* Develop and maintain Network Security documentation, standards, and best practices.
* Provide technical guidance and support to other network engineers and security analysts on Network Security issues and incidents.
* Stay updated on the latest Network Security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities, and apply appropriate countermeasures.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience working with large corporate networks and a variety of security vendors.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
* At least 10 years of experience working with Network Security in large corporate networks, including designing, securing, and deploying Network Security components such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, DLP, NAC, WAF, etc.
* Strong knowledge of Network Security protocols, standards, and best practices, such as TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, IPsec, PKI, etc.
* Experience with factory networks and IoT security, including device authentication, encryption, and firmware updates.
* Experience with cloud-based Network Security solutions, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Experience with Network Security tools and platforms, such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.
* Ability to work in a complex, international environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or SANS GIAC are preferred.
