Job description
Owing to significant growth one of our leading legal clients are seeking a highly skilled and experienced New Build Property Lawyer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of New Build property matters, including sales and purchases, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions.
Responsibilities:
*Manage a caseload of New Build property matters from inception through to conclusion
*Maintain efficient systems to ensure all deadlines are met
*Demonstrate excellent client care and communicate complex legal matters in commercial
astute format
*Build lasting working relationships with clients and house builder referrers
*Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders
*Develop professional relationships with potential sources of work
*Generate fee income in line with agreed targets
*Manage, supervise, train, and develop support staff
*Play an active role in the team's business development activities and budgets to
continue the growth of New Build work
About the Person:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following attributes, skills, and experience:
*Previous experience working on New Build purchase and sale matters
*Hold a relevant qualification
*Commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care
*Commercially astute with an understanding of business targets and their impact on the
practice
*Experience in managing, supervising, training, and developing support staff
*Thorough working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures
*Organized and process-driven
*IT literate with experience using a web-based case management system
Credible past and consistent billing/financial performance
